I’m a bit of a sucker for classic coat styles as I think they are timelessly chic and incredibly versatile. During winter I normally wear slouchy, oversized, warm knitwear so I can get away with wearing a lighter coat.
When it comes to boots or coats, I’m always the ‘monochrome one’, inevitably buying the black or grey. This season I thought I would break my shopping pattern so I chose a lighter colour. I didn’t want to go for beige or cream, so I went a for a bit of an unconventional one: pink blush. The colour is stunningly beautiful to be honest, and the black overlay buttons are such a nice detail.
What I love about this coat is that it’s so versatile because of the style and colour and it goes amazing with skirts, jeans, heels or trainers, and most colours in my wardrobe. I am about 5’9 and it comes just over the knee when I wear it so it’s absolutely spot on if you are looking for a long coat.
I paid under £50 for it, as Dorothy Perkins had a sale on when I bought mine a few weeks ago, which for a coat like this is an absolute bargain! It’s still in stock here so I would grab quite soon if I were you.
