Hero Pieces Style Lookbook

The Asymmetrical Polka Dots Skirt

It’s no news that I have been ‘slightly’ obsessed with asymmetrical pieces lately, what you don’t know is that I found my perfect summer skirt. It happened as it always does with the one: it was unexpected, you weren’t even looking for it and you didn’t even know you need it in your life. And then you asked yourself: ‘how on Earth was I even complete without it?’

This beauty not only ticks my standards boxes of midi length, warm colours and a relaxed feel, but it also has an asymmetrical cut!

The white and brown/tan colour combo is so lovely and warm, and the polka dots are absolutely spot on. The relaxed fabric and the asymmetrical cut give it a flowy feel, making it the ultimate summer piece for breezy days.

I’ve worn it with an off-shoulder, Bardot neck bodysuit which gives the outfit a chic, stylish vibe and it beautifully complements the cut and the colour palette of the skirt. It also pairs lovely with cropped tops if you want a casual look or a white tie front shirt for a relaxed office outfit.

Another thing that I love about this skirt is that it is really versatile and can be worn from day to evening, from complementing it with slides or espadrilles for a more relaxed vibe to heels for a night out.
